I have been doing some contract work during portions of the last year so I have had a little time. And I have been taking that time because I want to feel natural and "at one" with Java rather than cramming my head at an accelerated pace and trying to keep it all in focus until I can get the exam done.

That said, I still have a few spots that I consider weak (mainly because I just haven't put the proper focus on them: dates, locales, regex, formatting...) so I am about to be running a course of mock exams to "grill" myself and touch up those spots.

So I still have a bit of polishing to do but I bought my voucher yesterday! And I decided to find the extra material, do a little extra study and go for the 6.0 exam.

Wish me luck because, while the subject matter comes MUCH more easily to me than it did a year ago.... I STILL feel like I am in the last "spin cycle" in the clothes washer!!!

Hi Meena, please modify your name according to Javaranch naming policy. It seems awkward.

Hi Swapnil,

It is mentioned in the JavaRanch Naming policy that, "I understand that in some cultures there is no such thing as "first name and last name" - there is just one name. If you are one of these people, I would like to humbly ask you to sacrifice a piece of your culture to help me build this culture." .....and I,Meena,am one of those people.

My Real and Only Name, is Meena.I do not have a last name as such, So I have expanded my initial M, which stands for my Father's Real Name MeenakshiSubramanian, in order to comply with the policies.

I do respect the JavaRanch naming policies and the efforts taken to make the members adhere to it.If my name did not adhere to any of the naming policies ,i would have appreciated the efforts taken to point it out.But asking to modify it just because "it seems awakward"...??? I suggest you not to see anyone's real name as awkward.

Nevertheless, I have changed my display name to Meena Subramanian.
