i am in the preperation of scjp1.5 exam.is it neccessary to buy a simulator.if,which one is better.is there any free mock exams on scjp1.5?

It's not absolutely necessary to buy an exam simulator. Good books, such as K&B, cover everything in the exam - if you can do the exercises in that book well, then you're well prepared for the exam.
