Hi all,

Today is the last day before day X - tomorrow i'm taking scjp5 exam. I'm little nervous before it... My fist certification.. Never the less maybe any of you know some tweaks, tactics about exam?

Would be appreciated for any suggestions.

Thanks in advice

Kiril

Hi kiril

All the best. We are travelling in a same boat. I just read K&B. Seems like it is not enough alone. Really nervous now.

No need to feel nervous. Take a nap.
Go through mock exams at the last moment and do well at exam.

All the best for both!

Hi Phal,

That's true. 3 time read K&B. Several times took Mock. And still nervous. Something like paranoia - thinking about serialization, overloading, enums and other goodies

Thanks all for supporting. It's really helps I hope tomorrow will be very, very lucky day and we will pass exam.

Hey Kiril

These topics are really scary. But in mocks, I face questions of ordinal in Enums. I didn'find such a thing in book. So hope we don't have ordinals on exam. As far as my knowledge is concerned, it is just like array[element] but still fingers crossed. All the best.

Hi,

Good luck. I'm sure you will do well.
Remember to use test taking tips from K&B Book (like taking a bottle of H20 when going to the exam as you might need them to refresh).

Please also post your score after the exam.

Much luck to you guyz.

Regards,
Siphiwe Madi

Hi Kiril

Good job. Congratulations. I had to unfortunately postpone the exam for next wednesday due to some personal reasons. How do you think the exam was? Questions were like Mock or easier/tougher than that? How long did you take to complete the exam? Congrats again and good luck.

Hi,

I think you'll defenitly pass that exam!! About the difficulty.... For example Inquisition Mock is much more harder. But if in general it's like mock - nothing unexpected and nothing unknown - were touched all the chapters from K&B. I answered to all question after 1,5 hour. After that 30 minutes was reviewing answers. So if yours experience is more than 7 months - you will pass 100% probability
