Can you tell me what is the current position of Java in the market.Are there jobs available ?Especially what about Mumbai

hi
i was in mumbia last month and what i found was that the situation is not that bad in mumbai ..... there are jobs ( good jobs ) but for people have at least 1-2 years of java exp .
