Hi Dierk!

Maybe I'm too newbie, but it seems that JRuby and Groovy are suited for the same kind of problems for me. Am I wrong? Is Groovy just easier to learn than JRuby for newcomers that are already familiar with Java?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

Some may claim that this would be the case but my personal perspective is slightly different.
Groovy is suited for Java developers that seek to use dynamic programming capabilities on their home turf.
JRuby is suited for Ruby developers that want to run their Ruby programs on a stable and ubiquitous platform.

cheers
