What's the deal with SE 5.0 or SE 6.0?

Hi,

I just want to take a Sun Certified Java Programmer Exam. And I find a bunch of exams having SE 5.0, SE 6.0, Upgrade Exam. What do I really need to select?

Go for latest one: SCJP 6.
This is generally recommended by all ranchers.

The Upgrade Exam is for people who are already certified for an older version of SCJP, but who want to get certified for the newest version.

Sun's SCJP pages explain it all in detail; read those pages carefully.
