First things first - SCJP is Tough.. Admitted, but NOT IMPOSSIBLE..
You just have to practice, practice and practice..
I am also preparing for SCJP and I find that the more I practice, the more confident I become for the exam..
Read SCJP 5.0 by Kathy, Siera..
Also you may try Khalid Mughal..
If you are from India, you can find these books easily from market..
Otherwise, find them here:
1. http://www.amazon.com/Programmers-Guide-Java-Certification/dp/0201596148
2. http://www.amazon.com/Certified-Programmer-310-055-Certification-Guides/dp/0072253606

Also read the javaranch SCJP forums and past threads, they would help you a lot..
And final word: NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE.

Welcome to JavaRanch.

Have a look at the JavaRanch SCJP FAQ, which contains a lot of useful information about preparing for the SCJP exam.
