I have read the objectives for the exam on sun's site.
They do not make mention of topics such as the Math class or bitwise operations being on it. However I find these kind of sample questions on 1.5 mock exams. Are these topics found on the exam?

Also when you take the exam do you take it in sections? ie: you are first given questions from Section 1: "Declarations, Initialization and Scoping" and then you proceed to section 2 etc... or are all the questions in a randomized order?

thanks

Bitwise operations are not on the SCJP1.5 exam as far as I know.
Neither is the Math class or any use of it.
On the exam, the questions are answered in a random order.
If I'm wrong about anything above, then someone please correct me ;-)

Bert Bates, one of the authors of the famous K&B book, just mentioned a few days ago here on the forums that the Math class is not on the SCJP 5 and 6 exams (it is on the SCJP 1.4 exam).

Bitwise operators are indeed also not on the SCJP 5 or 6 exams.
