Mock Test for SCJP1.4

I am planning for SCJP 1.4 coming week. Right now i am giving mock test, though i am doing well in some mock test but i am messing up in few. My performance doesnt seem to be consistent.
Today i was solving the questions from www.danchisholm.net and they were very tricky and tough, that has put my confidence to lowest level.

Please let me know if someone can provide me with suggestions and also any links to good mock would be helpful.

In one of the past threads(I tried searching the exact thread..sorry could not) Mr.Bates answered a question regarding the difficulty of questions in other certification books and mock exams.Someone specifically asked that he came across many topics in this forum and other mock exams which were not covered in K&B and that he was worried.Bates said that since the others(like books and mock tests) didnt know how the exams would be they had to cover 150%.But everything needed for the exam has been covered in K&B book since the authors are co developers of the exams.
So you can carry on your preparation in peace and do not lose confidence with the exam in sight.
Moreover,I have read your posts and I think you can do it.

By the way, I am very happy to know that I m not the only one taking up scjp1.4.

Just to inform you...
I have given Java 1.4 and it was easy..you really dont need to worry about it..
Trust me on that one!


I flunked the exam but that was because i hadn't touched my books for 3 months.
They told my voucher was expired in Us (where i had planned to take the exam) and so i had stopped studying .

And then suddenly i went to India where my voucher was still valid for another week ...
They didn't have any slots left - so i gave the exam the day i scheduled it.
Coz I didn't want to throw my chance... atleast I would get to know what the exam is like..

So you can imagine how crazy it was.. turning up for the exam not being prepared..

And i was honestly surprised at my score which was on the borderline.
Half the time was spent on just trying to recall!!!


So dont worry too much..
Go ahead and give it your best shot..
You are well prepared!!!

Thanks for sharing your experience.

Dont worry, i am happy that you atleast tired and gave the test and didnt waste it.
Even after a gap of 3 months getting to border line isnt bad.
I guess you can now prepare well and give a good attempt this time.
