Is it possible to set ignore on a particular user?
Specifically, private messages, and even forum posts.

We're still on scroll bar technology for that one, I'm afraid.

I find deleting PMs by people I don't care to hear from works well. If you find even reading the subject lines chafing, I'm afraid you're out of luck.

If you click on the profile icon of a user, on the lower right of the page there is a link "add to your ignore list". I've never tried it, but it might do what you want, at least for PMs.

There's some info on both Buddy and Ignore lists here. I added Ilja as a buddy and am about to see if I can 'conveniently' PM him.

You have to use the same scrolling technology to get to the relevant sections.

I'm really starting to like that scrolling thing. Seems to have lots of useful applications.
