I am experimenting on how to create MS Word Documents using Java. I came across a couple of APIs for the same.
1. POI provided by Apache (early version, still under development)
2. Muller UND Stein at java400 (needs a template) used for Letters etc.
However, I am looking for the features viz. creating tables, formatting and so on.
Is there any API (Java classes) accessible anywhere on the net, which can be downloaded and used in our programs, so that our programs will collect data from elsewhere and feed it to the API to create a Word Document and put the data into it and save it as well!!!
Am I asking for more!!!
