Receipt printer?? trough javax.comm API

Hi,
I need to use a receipt printer (EPSON)TM T88 for my application.
I am using javax.comm extension package for communication trough the serial port,the printer is connected to the com1 port in my windows xp.
How can i use the javax.comm API to print a receipt from the printer above?
or can use somethnig else, how should the code look like.
Please help, links or code exampels or tips where i can find info, would be great. /E
