Hi!
I'm working with a communication hack for a telephone network switch and have made the same hack before but then we used a modem to connect to the switch.
I need to be able to send a CTRL+BREAK to the switch in order to get the login promt. This was pretty straitforward when using the java comm api for the modem connection (it has the sendBreak() method) but now we will use telnet through a terminalserver and I'm really stuck here. Does enyone know how to send a CTRL+BREAK in telnet?
Regards,
Matte

I would recomment reading the telnet RFC. A copy can be found at ftp://ftp.rfc-editor.org/in-notes/rfc854.txt . In it they say
"The following are the defined TELNET commands. Note that these codes and code sequences have the indicated meaning only when immediately preceded by an IAC."

Hope this helps
