Hi everyone.. got a big problem here..
The source data (database) of one of my reports is a recordset thats returned from a method of a remote object. I tried to access this object from a simple JAVA application and it works OK. But when i tried to do that in Crystal (even in the web) i get error message. Seems like RAS couldn't connect and lookup the remote object..
Can anybody help?

This sounds like it could be more a Crystal question than a true Java question. You might get a better response in one of the Crystal forums at http://www.tek-tips.com

Anybody who works with Crystal should be well acquainted with their tech support. Crystal is so full of little bugs and annoyances that it is difficult to do any extensive development with Crystal without needing tech support. This sounds like an issue where you will have to go through tech support, if you havn't done so already.
They've really decreased their wait times in recent years. Recently, I had to call them, and was expecting a four-hour wait time. Instead, it was only 45 minutes. Just remember that they have fairly limited hours: 8-4 Pacific time. And you might even get to listen to Radio Vancouver
