Hi Friends,
I need to write a course project,i want to build a mail server within local network that allow me do several function such as open account,change password, send email,read email.and you should be to take in account transparency.
can anyone suggest me and tell me efficient tools taht make it and easy for use. i appreciate any help that can be given.

Seems to me the place to start is the Java Mail API which can be found here!

I can only assume you are talking about SMTP, POP3 server? In that case, why don't you just use JAMES from http://james.apache.org/?

In regards to your last post, James is open source. So it is possible to get the source code and see how they did things.

With regards to your display name, we would appreciate it if your name consisted of a first and a last name (with the last name having at least two letters).
