I am considering moving back to Canada before Christmas. I was wondering how the IT industry is doing.
Do you think I should wait till "next next" Christmas?

Canada is yes just as lousy as everywhere else. A Java developer friend of mine at Oracle is but one out of a job I know. They at Oracle are cut to the bone. Not much out there for developers, IT is coming back for sales and such but not real developer far as I see. Some movement amoung the 5y plus types.
