Hi,
I am about to start on an application that needs to talk to a device over a serial port. I have some code to enumerate the ports on a machine and print them out.
The only way I can get this to work is if I compile and run the application on the windows (C) drive, otherwise it simply doesn't find the ports - I don't get any errors at runtime.
Does anyone have a workaround for this problem? I have tried copying the .dll into WINNT\system and system32 and into the SDK and JRE bin directories to no avail!
