I developed a java application to communicate two systems. Every request is processed by a Thread, and the thread invokes the API of the other system, using JNI to do it.
The problem is that when the program is running, it increases the memory used by the process "javaw.exe", about 0.3 Mb every single request is processed. The memory usage that is displayed sometimes is smaller than the previous, but in general it tends to get bigger and bigger.
I tracked the problem to be at the JNI calls, because I forced the application to send an error message before the JNI call occurs, and in this case the memory usage didn't increase.
Please, if you can tell me something about this problem, i'd thank you a lot.
