I am sending email through an STMP server. I have sent mail successfully through our local mail server and I am now trying to send mail through our new server.

When sending mail I get this error

class javax.mail.SendFailedException: 553 sorry, that domain isn't allowed to be relayed thru this MTA (#5.7.1)

What does that mean?

An MTA is a Mail Transfer Agent. I don't know what you are using as your MTA (and its possible that you won't either) but it looks like it is configured to stop traffic to a specific domain. I'd speak to your network admin people.
