ClassLoader Bypass Hierarchy  RSS feed

The default ClassLoader hierarchy works this way:

* The ClassLoader checks whether a class is already loaded in the cache.
* If the class is not found in the cache, the call is delegated to the parent classloader.
* If the class is not found in the parent, only then the current classloader load the class

Now I see in many application servers that the class-loader is configurable to load first the jars present in the application module, and then if not found, search for the class in the parent class loader...

How do the application servers achieve this?

by extending the java.lang.ClassLoader class. Try searching some info on that
