Player delays in JMF on different sound devices

Hi,

Does anyone noticed delays when playing back sound from captured device?
I.m using Crystal sound card and have 1.5-2.0s delay!!!
I also have used plantronics USB sound device witch has better results (~500ms). How reduce this delay??
