Hi,
im trying to read in the tEXT header of a png file. what i want to do is change the 'keyword' and the 'text' and then save that to the file. i have the code to change amend the check sum (CRC). im having trouble reading in the length of the header. i was thinking of using JAI to do all of this.

i was also wondering if theres an easy way to insert a tEXT field if the doesnt have one already.

thanks for the help

Hi,

Welcome to JavaRanch!

First, a bit of business: you may not have read our naming policy on the way in. It reqiures that you use a full, real (sounding) first and last name for your display name. I'm calling you on the "real sounding" part. You can change your display name here.

Second: we like to have JAI questions over in our Other Java APIs forum. I'm going to move this over there for you.
