Hi Friends,
right now using the <aheref="link> from my jsp i could open up the microsoft outlook and write my email. Is there a way
by which I could also throw some of the HTML data from my JSP to the email body box like we can throw the html code into excel by setting the mime types,it should be sort of automated email thing. Is there an easy way ..or I have to use Java mail for this?Thanking you in advance.

You have to use Java Mail if you want to include anything your JSP is generating in the mail, since the JSP is a serverside component while Outlook is purely clientside.

You can probably interact with Outlook via some ActiveX control if you absolutely must.

Moving to the Other APIs forum for JavaMail discussion.
