Hi guys,

I wonder if it's possible to 'run'/open from a standalone appliation a pdf document. I mean, my program produces a pdf file and it saves it on the local c drive. once this is completed i wonder how can i open it and show it to the enduser. (I want to save the time and hassle of locating it and double clicking the document)

thanks
peter

You can use the java.lang.Runtime class to execute programs. For example you can run something like: viewer.exe c:\test.pdf

Hope this helps.
