We have a real odd problem here. We wrote a Convenience class to send Mail
from a Servlet. Since we're in Germany people expect Umlauts to work.

So we use

To send mails. Works perfectly.

BUT THEN

Customer calls, emitting steam from ears (Since this is about the 20th
time this happens) Umlauts don't work.

Testmail has a subject line of

"Prophet su"

arrives as

=?ANSI_X3.4-1968?Q?Prophet_=3Fs=3F=3F?=

We know the routine, restart Tomcat, stuff works OK.

This is not predictable. May work for hours, but at some point
we have the customer in our neck again.

*Sings* "Going slightly mad, lalala"

Any input? PLEASE!

J.
