Program Works, But Why Does It Hang At The End?

Please help. I got this cool Midi program out the K&B Head First Java Book p. 389 and it works great but it hangs at the end and I need to use Ctrl C to get my command prompt back. I can fix it but I have to add about six lines of code and I am not sure that is the best way. Can anyone else suggest the proper way to make the program exit gracefully? Thanks so much for any hints... I am a new SCJP, but a Sequencer newbie.
