Hi,

I am running a Java application as an NT Service using wrapper APIs. I actualy want to monitor the services from a remote machine. I also want to start, stop and restart the service from a remote machine.

Is it possible if so please let me know how to do it.

Thanks in advance.....

What do you mean by "monitor"? Do you want see if the service is up and running, or do you want to peek at application internals? If the former, then you're probably looking for a Windows tool, not a Java one (same for starting and stopping an NT service). If the latter, have a look at the JMX API. It lets you expose application internals for monitoring (and also for changing), and it can be used remotely.
