I am working with j2sdk1.4.2 on windows 2000.I am trying to find Java Communications API for windows as my application requires serial communication. However am not able to find it at suns products site.(I looked through the previous posts and found link from thr),but am not able to find it.
Can someone tell me where to find it and how to get it working for the current version of java am using?

Thanks in advance,

Hello everybody!

I also have this problem. Do you know where can I find the COMM API for Windows? Sun on its website only has versions for Solaris and Linux.

Best Regards,

This thread has some relevant information. Basically, the 3.x version has been discontinued for Windows.

An open source version of the older 2.x libraries is available here.
