I have two queries for a file which is in AFP format

Basically i want to replace the contents fo this file.

1. Is there any Java API which can read AFP format file. and do some manipualtions on that file.

2. At present i open this file in a Hex editor and manually do Replace all options for the Hex codes which i know. Is there any java API which can help me in doing this manipulations

There's at least seven different applications which use an AFP file extension. Care to narrow it down for us?

And it doesn't even list the Apple File Protocol, which I was getting ready to explain all about ... saved by the bell!

Please don't post the same question in multiple forums. I deleted the copy you posted in I/O and Streams. See here for an explanation.

Anyway, 15 seconds of Googling turned up this product.

Hey Ernest, thanks for the plug. I hope this is helpful but we also have a page dedicated to Tech Tips for Java Imaging and a list of formats we work with. If you have a one-off conversion you are welcome to use our free Java applet to save the file to your desktop.

Happy coding! Hope these help!
