hi
when i try to compile my JAI samples from SUN site i get following error::EXCEPTION_FLT_DIVIDE_BY_ZERO
kindly help

JVM bug. Try upgrading to the latest JDK version.

i m using JDK 1.5
i m using windows XP with SP2
can it be due to SP2 ?

You're using JDK 1.5 update 4. Update 6 is available. Little bugs like this get fixed in each update, so upgrade to 1.5.0 update 6, and try again.

i knw its quite strange

Code compiled fine with runtime enviornment 1.4 !!!
it didnt compile with jre 1.5 it gave error but compiled with JRE 1.4

can nyone explain the anamoly
