I made a simple PDF file using classes such as Chunk and Paragraph. I use also a bold font, embedded or not, doesn't matter.

BaseFont helv = BaseFont.createFont(
BaseFont.HELVETICA,
BaseFont.CP1250,
BaseFont.NOT_EMBEDDED);
Font fontBold = new Font(helv, 10, Font.BOLD);

But when I copy my text (via clipboar) from PDF into other text editor, such as WordPad, the information about font-weight (bold) disappears. Something must be wrong in my file, because other files not created by me are OK - font-weight is copied well, font remains bold. What can be the problem ?
Thanks.

Sorry to tell you that I don't know the answer to that. However if you look here:

http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?forum_id=3273

you will find an archive of several thousand questions about iText. Your question may be in there already.
