URGENT: Third interview - what to expect ?

+Pie Number of slices to send: Send
Hey guys,
I have been called for a third interview for tomorrow. The company is fairly small (about 30 people). I have already been interviewed by five people:
1st interview: HR person, project manager, written JAVA test
2nd interview: intermediate designer, senior designer and VP of software development (all technical JAVA, SQL questions, projects I have done etc.)
3rd interview: coming up tomorrow
Can somebody tell me what kind of questions I should be expecting ? Should I be prepared for another technical round or more HR-personal development kind of questions ? I realize that nobody can really predict it but if you have been through a similar experience, please give me some pointers. They mentioned I will be meeting 2-3 people, possibly the CEO...
Any input will be greately appreciated - in this economy, this may be my only chance

It really varies, as you noted. During the first interview, I always ask them to describe the process for me. This way I know how many rounds to expect, and I'll know if they are doing something different, e.g. an extra round.
In some cases, companies really want that many rounds--big 6 consulting companies hiring out of college typically do 4 rounds.
For a small company like this, chances are they like you. Often a CEO in this sized comapny will want to meet candidates before the final offer is made. I would take this as a good sign. I suspect this round will involve much of them trying to get inside your head to see what concerns are, and trying to sell you.
(No promises, though, so be prepared for anything, just in case.)

my experience has been:
Interview 1 - is this guy an idiot, did he prepare for this interview.
Interview 2 - does this guy possess the skills/knowledge needed to be successful in this company.
Interview 3 - someone higher up double checks that the candidate is not an idiot, and would be willing to sign his paychecks. Maybe some free end questions like "Why should I hire you?", "What makes you the best candidate". Kind of like the final episode of Survivor when you have to convince the Jury that "You're their guy". I've also experienced at the end of the last interview, a discussion about company policy, hours, wages, holidays, project discussions, etc. with a contract ready to be signed. It is not my experience that smaller companies have more than 3 interviews, in fact most I have had is 3.
your chances look good

Thanks for your input ! I think the interview went fairly well - as suspected, not technical stuff, just questions along the lines of "What do you think about our opportunities ?", "Why you ? " etc. At the end they asked for references and they said I should hear from them this week. Hope it will work out... :-).
