javamail client program fails when ported to fedora core 5
posted 10 years ago
I have a javamail client that works with fedora core 3 and fails when ported to fedora core 5.
Calls to message.getSentDate() return null when running on core 5 with
5.5 and return the correct value when running on core 3 with Tomcat 4.1.
Several other javamail anomolies seem to happen with the core 5 implementation, but I suspect they are all related so I am focusing on this one.
I know the message is correct because calls to message.getSubject() return a correct subject line on both core 3 and core 5.
I have tried this with both GNU
and Sun Java as well as with the GNU javamail and the Sun javamail.
Does anyone have any ideas??
Thanks in advance
