Not sure if this is the right forum I have a problem with HTTPUnit I am using the class WebRequest to send a form.

Usually the folloing code works if I have a form with a name and a text vaule say name and value is my name.

webrequest.setParameter("name","Tony");

My problem is that if the value is a pull down menu say dr mr mrs for pARAM title

then

webrequest.setParameter("Title","mr"); would return anull, does httpunit use another method for pull down menues.

Thanks for any help

Tony

Hmmm... Not sure if this is the right forum either. The "HTML & Javascript" forum would probably know more about FORMS. The "Testing" forum may have indirectly used the HTTPUnit library before.

How about this? Let's leave it here for now... If enough people complains, or if you prefer another forum, I'll move it then.

As for your question, I don't think the POST differentiates the component types. The only thing that I can think of, is, sometimes the return value, of a menu, is not the same as the selected field showing in the menu. You have to take a look at the HTML to see what the return value should be.
