How about posting the code here first. What would you like to modify besides the message sent ? Are you using one of those sample programs ?

the atinav is a program itself for using bluetooth and J2SE together. i followed the instructions well, about putting the files in the classpath, setting my bluetooth device correctly, but after doing all, i want to change the content of the message send.the message sent by atinav was " *** This is the sample data send by the client using the OBEX Put Request***".

Looks like the program uses the OBEX protocol to transfer the message. OBEX is usually used for large object message transfers. Something like transferring a file from point A to point B. Is this a standalone exe file or are you executing a java program ? Do you have the source for this java program ?
