Hi guys,

I've just been browsing questions asked on email and JavaMail.

Sending JavaMail is pretty straightforward. However recieveing email hasn't been discussed much.

How difficult is it to code 'recieving email'. In essence what I am saying is, how difficult would it be to code my own inbox? I know I'd require a mail server, but I'm not too sure as to the amount of coding [not sure if what I'm saying makes any sense].

Advice on this area would be much appreciated. If you know of any examples that would be fab too.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts
Regards
Zein

Receiving e-mail can be a bit more complex, but the JavaMail download has examples of doing that as well.

Most of the problems I see people having with JavaMail aren't problems with writing the code to use it. They are configuration problems like not being able to connect to the server or not having the right jar files in the classpath.
