Hi, i'm working on a web based system that will allow people to upload their mobile videos to a java app server using a web browser (the video will be into their pcs, NOt into their phones).
The thing is that I want to capture a single frame (saving it in an image format) from that video and show it in the list of videos.
I tried using QTJava for the job but i couldn't make it work, does anybody has a clue how to accomplish this in a simple way? it doesn't matter wich frame is it or if i have to use a different api that QTJava.
btw I receive the video from the browser as an array of bytes (byte[])

Thanks in advance, Bati

Welcome to JavaRanch.

One of the sample codes probably includes code to do that. Use the ZIP file downloads if you're not on a Mac.
