That means that I dont have a file to convert to the TIFF file, i.e. a PDF or GIF file? So all my data is stored in the database and I want to make a new TIFF file, where I define the layout and display the data in the TIFF file from scratch?
There are several different ways to create a BufferedImage instance which you can work with programmatically. Reading and writing JPEG, PNG and BMP are covered in the Java SE Image IO API. GIF support depends on your JRE version. In order to save an image as a TIFF, you will need to use the Java Advanced Imaging API.
