Hello everyone,

Please could anyone indicate me how can I get the UNC printer shared-name as Active Directory understands from an javax.print.PrintService object and viceversa. For example:

I have a shared printer named like this:
\\<server>\HP LaserJet 2200 Series.

Its shared-resource name is:
\\<server>\HPLaserJ

I need to obtain one name from another in order to make some validations, such as:

lookupPrintServices returns me an array with an object with the 1st. name within.

But I need the second name to pass it as parameter to a program.

Otherwise, I need to get the 1st. name from the 2nd. given before.

Thanks for any help.
