I have a JSP page that you can pause / unpause a job.
I want to list in a column of my table the status of the job either running , or paused.

But No function in the job or trigger class gives me the status.
(i.e their is no getStatus() method anywhere except for the scheduler)

I am using api 1.5 of quartz.

I know I can pass a key/value pair in the JobDataMap but I was wondering if their is a simple function that I could call instead?
I find it kind of weird that quartz doesn't provide such a function when they have static varablies like STATE_PAUSED STATE_COMPLETE , etc etc.

I am currently looking at TriggerStatus but I don't know how this ties into
the job or trigger class how do you set the TriggerStatus for a trigger?

Thanks for any help.
If worst comes to worst I can always use the JobDataMap class to keep track of this.
