'SetOwner: Error 8 in MapViewOfFile' and 'UnSetOwner: Error 8 in MapViewOfFile' exception capture from cmd prompt when contineously ping in serialport communication... with time delay every 500 milliseconds.

how to fix this...

How about providing some context? Do you really think that you have provided enough information for anyone to help you out?

hello:

I have the same problem. My context is:

I have N (GSM/GPRS modems) every one connected trouth serial ports. I need to test every 30 seconds. I send AT commands and i works ok, but last nigth i let the application running, and in the morning i have this error:

INFO: Openning port: COM10

I use JAVACOMM API from SUN, in Microsoft Windows XP, the hardware is a P4 CPU 1.6 Ghz 512 Mb RAM

Can any body help me???
