Hi,

I'm using java mail API to send mail.
When Content Type is text/plain (which is by default), can we format the the text of the mail ? ie. some section marked BOLD or Italic or URL etc.
If yes, please let me know how to do it.

No you can't. That's what HTML and RTF formats are for.

With plain text you can do what you can do with Notepad, and nothing more. Just entering characters without any markup. The most you can do is use spaces, tabs and other characters for adjusting the layout.
