I have an XML beans Object that I am creating by doing the following:

MyXMLObjDocument doc = MyXMLObjDocument.Factory.newInstance();
...
...

I want to retrieve the xmlns attribute from the main object represented by MyXMLObjDocument. How do I do that? I have tried

doc.getMyXMLObj().selectAttribute("xmlns","");
doc.getMyXMLObj().selectAttribute("xmlns","xmlns");
doc.getMyXMLObj().selectAttribute("xmlns",null);
doc.getMyXMLObj().selectAttribute(null,"xmlns");
doc.getMyXMLObj().selectAttribute("","xmlns");

None of these calls are returning the namespace that I listed in my XSD. (They all return null). What is the proper way to return the xmlns from XMLbeans Objects?
