Hi there,
I am having my BS degree & worked for 2 yrs in india (server side java).
I came to US i cant find any job coz they r asking for experience (here in US).
I even tried for some entry level jobs but i cant find one.
I thought i need some certification in Java.
There r varieties of certifications out there
SCJP,SCWD,websphere,weblogic ..on,& on..
Which certifications is having good value?Eventhough its tough iam ready to do that.
I dont know what to choose - how to proceed my career from here.Iam really fed up with this.
I even tried "cashier" Jobs in stores i couldnt find one.Iam so upset iam losing my confident.
They r telling either iam over qualified or didnt have experience in US.
what should i do now?
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jay sean.

There are many others in the same boat as yourself, even those with many years of experience.

It seems like you might have better luck back in India especially since you already have contacts there. Things are not very good in the U.S. now. A friend of mine who is in H.R. said that a job req he put out had over 1000 resumes sent in response.

I agree with Tony.....I would go back to India since a companies are outsourcing development work. I've never been to India, but if I had relatives there and was familiar with the area, I would definitely go back.
No one can be certain of the IT future in the U.S., but if it picks up in couple of years you can always come back with the IT experience and knowledge you gained in India.
