is it possible for me to load a file and then to 'cut' it into different parts?
thank you,
Asaf.

Sure, parse the file and write whatever parts you want to new files.

If you want us to help you with how, you'll need to tell us more detail about what you want to do. How will the software know where to split the file (after so may characters? when a specific pattern is encountered? some other way?) and the structure of the incoming file. You will also need to let us know how you would like these new files named, and where you would like them placed.
Without this sort of information, it's really hard to help with a solution.

ok, I'm sorry for not being specific enough.
also Frank I'm sorry for not following the rules at the begin, I hope it's all ok now.
now what I want to do, is to take the file and to split it into 16 (equal in size) sections. then I want to send them off,
and then to assemble them into the same exact file.
is it enough data?
does it matter what type it is?
Thank you,
Asaf.
