Parsing a file containing special characters

Please can somebody tell me a way to parse a .csv file.
I am having an excel file(saved as a .csv file) with 8 columns and every column is having certain data.
I have written a code which parses this data and reads into a business object .
My problem is that whenever there is a text message which has the pattern like ", that is a double quote followed by a comma the code fails as my parsing mechanism recognizes this as the end of a token.I am using streamtokenizer class.
How can I take care of this..
Can somebody throw light on this issue.
Pl. rush your solution as it is urgent.Thanx in advance

IBM RPL,
Just re-register with a new name. I'm not sure you can change your name once it's registered.
Thanks,
-Peter
