I am running a set of JSP and servlet pages on a development server, and the purpose is to create a set of folders and subfolders on a different doc server. The path is being read from a text file and when we point the path to a folder on the same server as the files are running, there is no problem. Is there any way to point the path to a folder on another server to create these folders? No variation of the path I have tried works, and the folder has full control permissions to everyone. Also, mapping the drive is not a possibility. Please help. :S

hi Michelle!
As far as your problem is concerned i think u need to have a listener of some sort on the doc server so as to be able to listen to the request from ur devlopment server.without a listener(i.e server)on the doc server i dunno think ya will be able to connect to the doc server and without being able to connect to it you will not be able to create a folder on it.
i hope this 'll help ya out..
