Hello,
What could be a typical list of courses in a Masters degree(computer science). I am doing my Masters in Information and Communication systems(there is no MS Computer Science in this region) and the key courses offered here are Parallel Processing, Parallel Algorithms, OOAD, Transaction Processing,Software architectures, Enterprise Resource planning,OOAD in Process Automation, Adaptive compute systems, Communication Networks, Queuing theory for communication networks and other courses not related to computer science like digital filters, mobile communications, digital video signal coding etc. Is this degree equivalent to what they call MS Computer Science in USA. I know this is not a typical Masters in computer science but I would like to know if most of the courses required for a Masters are covered here. And that if I can compete with someone who has an MS in computer science..., So if a prospective employer is in search of a MS computer science guy , am I a viable candidate ??
Best Regards,
Shankar.

It varies from school to school, but here are a couple of different programs just to give you an idea.

It's a tiny ad only because the water is so cold.
