Hello friends!

I am passing data from applet to servlet using hash tables. When going from applet(i.e on click save button in applet side) to servlet it is throwing exception. it is showing
java.io. stream corrupted exception.and
input stream does not contain a serialized object.
I done this one in websphere 3.5 with out any prob. but now i am testing this in 4.0. I am getting this prob. some times .Can any body come across this prob any time.if so, please suggest me.
Thanks in advance
kumar

Hi Hello,
First, lets start with your user name. Here at the ranch we don't like nicknames or any other made up name. Yours is obviously made up because you didn't sign 'Hello' but 'Kumar'. Read the naming policy here
and re-register with a valid user name.
Second, your problem. This usually comes about because the hashtable class that you are passing from your applet to the servlet has only been updated in one place. You need to replace both your applet code and your servlet code to make sure that the class IDs match on the serialized object.
Regards,
Manfred.
