Is form feed recognized as null when using the StringTokenizer?
I have a text file similar to the following:
************************************************************************************************
Begin house
WhatKind “\game room\double garage\hard wood floors\bi-level\red front door”
HowMany “(1,2,0,2,1)”
End house
Begin car
WhatKind “\silver\cruise control\cd changer\running boards\tinted windows”
HowMany “0, 0, 10, 0, 0”
End car
Begin kids
WhatKind “\boy”
HowMany “1”
End kids
Begin pets
WhatKind “\dog”
HowMany “1”
End pets
************************************************************************************************
I have set the value of my StringTokenizer to “ ” (a blank space). I enter into a loop that continues as long as StringTokenizer hasMoreTokens and doesn’t equal null. There are cases when the WHATKIND from the above example will span over several pages, but when my code gets to the end of the first page it pauses. I am under the impression that the end of page marker (form feed is it?) is appearing as a null to my code because it falls out of the loop.
